Most Frequently Asked Questions About Instrument Rentals.

Is there a deposit?

There is a $25 deposit at the time you rent your instrument. This deposit is returned to you after 2 months when you can return the instrument in good condition, and if there are no amounts owed on the account. It can be applied toward the purchase of the instrument if you choose to take advantage of the rent-to-own program.

Can I purchase my rental?

Yes, you can purchase your rental instrument at any time. Rental payments can be applied toward the purchase of an instrument if your rental instrument qualifies for the rent-to-own program.

Can I upgrade my rental instrument or switch to a different instrument?

Yes, you can upgrade or switch to a new instrument and have your previous payments apply to the new rent-to-own, as long as the original contract is still in effect.

When are payments due?

You should receive a statement before the 1st of each month. Payments are due by the 9th of each month. If payment is not received by the 9th, a late fee will be assessed.

Do you have payment options?

Yes, you can sign up for auto pay by filling out the Credit Card Authorization form. Auto pays are deducted automatically from your account on the 1st of each month. You can also call the store to make a one-time payment over the phone using a credit card, mail a check, or pay in person at the store using any method of payment. We accept all types of credit cards.

What if I have a problem with my instrument?

You must bring your instrument into the store for repair, we have an excellent Luthier in-house for all stringed instruments and an excellent band instrument technician who will get your instrument back to you as quickly as possible. We may be able to provide a loaner in some instances.

What repairs am I responsible for?

Any damage on the instrument beyond normal wear and tear.

How can I improve my musical skills?
